West ham allegedly preparing bid for Javier Hernandez
http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/javier-hernandez-to-west-ham-hammers-prepare-8m-bid-for-manchester-united-striker-10390196.html

He scored 50 goals in three seasons in all competitions whilst at Man u before being loaned out to Real to sit on the bench behind Benzima and Ronaldo.

If we can seal this i think he would be a fantastic signing !!!

Re: West ham allegedly preparing bid for Javier Hernandez
Obviously you know that those 3 can score in the Premiership
Always less of a risk than someone from the French or Dutch league maybe who might not do it
As in Ricky Van Wolfswinkel

Yes, any of those will do. Would like Austin because Bilic has played in the past with a bigger striker but really we just need another striker who scores. It will be a formidable line up if we properly manage a group that includes one of these players and keep them healthy and happy. Easier said than done of course.

There's a yid on my facebook who's rattling on about what a good signing Hernandez would be.. Not going to grace him with a response, but have those slugs hijacked in on our move for him ?

Re: West ham allegedly preparing bid for Javier Hernandez
People will have their preferences but hopefully it's one of Austin, Remy or Hernandez. Or someone at that level.
Presumably then Maiga will be sent to France on loan if there are no buyers

Re: West ham allegedly preparing bid for Javier Hernandez
This would be a good sign in that it doesn't matter who we have up front if Nolan and Noble keep passing the ball backwards

Re: West ham allegedly preparing bid for Javier Hernandez
We need another striker.

Carroll cannot be relied upon.
Valencia didn't score many goals last season
The way sakho plays means he can pick up the odd injury too.

I don't want to see zarate and maiga upfront.

Re: West ham allegedly preparing bid for Javier Hernandez
I'd play lee in the away leg instead of Maiga. At least he looks like a player with some instincts who might offer something to the midfield.

Re: West ham allegedly preparing bid for Javier Hernandez
Yes but we all know Sakho and Valencia are on the way back as well as Carroll and new players we haven't had confirmed yet. No need for over reaction just yet...

Re: West ham allegedly preparing bid for Javier Hernandez
Not really. I've been saying they are both shit for months. Years in the case of Maiga. Until Sakho or Valencia is available, we are very very short up front. Literally and figuratively.

Re: West ham allegedly preparing bid for Javier Hernandez
We need another striker, especially if we are playing two upfront but I think that was known before tonight.

Knee jerk, knee jerk. Knickers severely wetted....

Re: West ham allegedly preparing bid for Javier Hernandez
We desperately need a striker, any striker, on tonight's evidence. Get rid of zarate and Maiga as soon as possible.

Re: West ham allegedly preparing bid for Javier Hernandez
His whole game instinct is get in a position to score. Something we haven't had for a while. Difficult to fit into the side if we play one striker as BFS would have done but I like having someone else than Sakho to score...

Re: West ham allegedly preparing bid for Javier Hernandez
They're right about pretty much everything the post him and muzzi... If we get Hernandez that's another fantastic signing... Has hardly had a run at man Utd and always scored goals.. He has a goal scorers instinct.. Reminds me of owen
